Our country is experiencing difficult times and the uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) which has imposed fear on our families and communities. We know the effects of this virus on our everyday life will be forever changed. We’ve already begun to experience some of the impacts such as school closures, business closures, travel restrictions, and sports and special events cancellations. During these difficult times CCSO is committed to continue providing services to our members. Your safety and well-being is our top priority. Please see the resources below for up-to-date news and information on COVID-19.
CCSO has provided the links below which include the court order, defendant response and the 7.2.20 court order on baseline testing for all CDCR staff which must be completed by July 16, 2020. The Department is working with CDPH on the recommended type of retesting and frequency which could be retesting for all and/or serial testing (retesting for a group of staff in areas where baseline testing resulted in positive test for inmates) and/or surveillance testing (10% of staff from different areas every 14-days). As this situation evolves further information will be provided.
