2025 State Election Results:
The California Correctional Supervisors Organization is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 State Election and welcomes its new State President, Gilbert Valenzuela. Click here to review the CCSO 2025 State Election Results.
State President Valenzuela brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. He has served the organization in numerous capacities, including Chapter President, Labor Manager, and State Vice President. Gil is well-versed in the leadership qualities necessary to guide CCSO forward.
The organization also extends its sincere gratitude to outgoing State President Art Gonzales for his tireless devotion and exemplary leadership. His commitment to CCSO and its members has left a lasting impact, and we thank him for his years of dedicated service.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT REMINDER:
CCSO offers paycheck protection through the California Law Enforcement Association (CLEA),
providing peace of mind in the event of an accident or injury. Custody staff can enroll for $36 per
month, while non-custody staff pay $35 per month. For more information, please contact the CCSO
Office, and our CLEA representative will reach out to answer any questions.
At the most recent CLEA conference, it was voted to implement a rate increase of $0.50 beginning in
July 2026, with an additional $0.50 increase each July thereafter—unless a motion is made and
approved during the April CLEA conference to stop the rise.

that is available to all CCSO members.
